Encounter Celebration

The Lord promised me that what the devil has stolen from me must return more than one-hundred-thousand fold. The devil attempted to take my life multiple occasions, relentlessly tormented me and failed. How? Jesus supernaturally and relentlessly stepped in and said, "no more satan! Get your hands off my child and do not return!" I am unashamed that Jesus Christ is my redeemer. This first Men of Conquest Encounter venue at the Emalani Ballroom of the Hawaii Convention Center is the same venue I performed at for the first TEDx Honolulu Shift Conference.

Men of Conquest Encounter and Women's Devoted Encounter Celebration: Me, my Men's Life Group disciple Nate's mother Hazel and my math Life Group student Gale with our eyes on Jesus and God dreaming, with Nate Jesus-focused ahead for our G12 Hawaii Conference: Your Kingdom Come.

Women's Devoted And Men of Conquest Encounter Celebration: Nate, Ernest (uncle of one of my best and closest of friends Duke), me, John Lum, Tutamo.

I celebrate you Jason for completing the Men Of Conquest Encounter, AUUUUUUUURIGHT! You are not only my Lifegroup leader but also my friend and God has used you to bless not only me and my family but also pretty much everyone that crosses your path. With God all things are possible and through Him I know that His best is yet to come for you, your family, and everything that you do. Auuuuuright!

It was such a blessing to share this celebration with you. Congratulations on completing the Men of Conquest Encounter. I'm so proud of you! Through your obedience in Him, God's going to take you to a higher level and equip you for the task so be ready for it! "So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord who is the Spirit makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image". 2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT

“It's not every guy who gets mistaken for a boombox. Jason Tom, one of Hawaiʻi's most visible beatboxers, is a walking, talking instrument; an energetic combination of drums, snare, vocals and synthesizer, all replicated using his voice.”

“Imagine standing on a stage in front of hundreds or thousands of fans. Cameras of every type are focused on you as bright stage lights blind you. Now imagine that you are also wheezing and coughing and short of breath. Such is the case with today's entertainers living with asthma, including Honolulu's Jason Tom.

Tom is a nationally known beatboxer and fashion designer who has asthma. His musical profession presents unique difficulties for someone with airflow issues. Like many vocalists, his only instrument is his mouth. A beatboxer is solely responsible for vocally producing all of the musical sounds (beat, melody, etc.) in a song, so they typically perform solo. They do not have the luxury of taking mid-song breaks to catch their breath. This literally puts Tom's life on the line at every performance.”
