In my lifetime, the Detroit Lions won their division 3x, was a playoff contender 11x, and finished 2nd in the division 6x. With that said.. it’s a realistic possibility for the 2023 Detroit Lions 🦁 with 3x Pro Bowl NFL quarterback Jared Goff to have a break out and breakthrough season.
The Wild Card Playoff Round, Divisional Playoff Round, Conference Playoff Round and the Lombardi Trophy 🏆 Round: Super Bowl Championship is not out of reach for the 2023 Detroit Lions 🦁. And though an NFL team doesn’t have to win their division to play in or win the Super Bowl.. it does help. Winning the NFC North Division is the perfect target for the Detroit Lions to get into the NFL playoffs, and that helps the Detroit Lions 🦁 inch much closer to contending for the
a. NFL Playoff Round 1: AFC & NFC Wild Card Round (BYE week for the AFC 1 seed and NFC 1 seed)
b. NFL Playoff Round 2: AFC & NFC Divisional Round
c. NFL Playoff Round 3: AFC & NFC Conference Round to determine the AFC & NFC Champions 🏆
d. NFL Playoff Round 4: NFL World Championship Round AFC Champion versus NFC Champion to win the Super Bowl Championship 🏆 to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
The 2022 Detroit Lions finished 2nd in the NFC North yet they didn’t get into the playoffs. Finishing 2nd in the NFC North would not be a high enough of a target goal for the Mighty Detroit Lions 🦁. Winning the NFC North would be a great target goal for the Detroit Lions 🦁, not 10 wins, but 13 wins or more, minimum.
Even though that’s easier said than done.. I’m rooting for the 2023 Detroit Lions 🦁 to win the NFC North Division. Let’s go.
