Thank You Kapiʻo News

August 26, 2017 at 03:50AM

I want to thank my Alma mater the University of Hawaiʻi at Kapiʻolani or also known as Kapiʻolani Community College, and the staff writers of the Kapiʻo News for proposing for a new campus amphitheater to be named after yours truly called the "Jason Tom Amphitheater" which made it on the "Dream Christmas Wish List for KCC" by Chris Takahashi, and they also featured me in their current August issue (print version) with an excerpt of the full online article entitled, "KCC Alumnus Inspires Community Through Beatboxing, Motivational Speaking" by Lexus Yamashiro. You can visit www.KapioNews.com to read the full articles.

Fresh, etc.). To be more specific and in depth... I decided to devote this blog entry about my adventure into the beatboxing realm and the story starts off below this paragraph...

It all began being exposed at an early age during the mid 1980's to the Michael Jackson song "Bad." Also seeing several versions of the music video on television for "Bad" such as the original version…

Hawaii Sensation Jason Tom, beat boxer

Over the years I have seen all kinds of musical talents from different parts of the country and the world. I love the ones that bring something new or something old with a fresh twist on it, not straying too much from the origin. One day I came across a guy on a website that was a music artist. He was very different from the average music artists in that he performed without any background music. The music was actually coming from within him. He himself was actually a musical instrument. I was amazed at his talent. He has fresh sounds, you can see the energy popping off of him,…

jasontom.com to be officially launched!

May 31, 2008 at 12:18AM

www.jasontom.com is in its primitive stage, and is no where near it's intended goal. It'll require more time and manpower to make this a wonderful experience for visitors. I apologize for the long time it takes for this site to get going. I have yet to promote this page to its fullest potential. I'm hoping that one day www.jasontom.com will be the destination between I, my friends, family, supporters, and a growing cult following.

Here are some photos from my graduation earlier this month.
