Legend of Zelda Story at Hot Topic

April 15, 2017 at 01:22PM

Two years ago I met this trio Jennifer, Jeffrey and Charley at the Legend of Zelda section of the Ala Moana Center's Hot Topic store and one of them recognized me from one of my past performances at a hip-hop jam. I shared with them I was shopping for Legend of Zelda gear as I am about to prepare for my friend's son's 1st Birthday Party and the party theme is the Legend of Zelda. Then last year, Charley and Jennifer as well as the Kaimuki High School Band supported and voted for me in the NextNext Hawaii Music Competition and Charity Event where the proceeds from their votes went to the charity of my choice, the Ronald McDonald House Hawaii. Jennifer also shared with me that she was assisted by the Ronald McDonald House Charity and this meant so much to her and also meant much more to me to know someone I met was helped through this charity I am all supportive of. I placed 3rd within the Top 10 out of 40 contestants that consisted of incredibly talented and amazing musicians, bands and artists throughout the Aloha State of Hawaii. I am so grateful and thankful of Jennifer's support!

Then I learned this year that she had been to the hospital and had to go through procedures. I've been praying for her since. Prior to receiving that news my father recently had a very similar situation and I've been praying for both now. I've also lost several female friends within one year. I dedicate this post to you Jennifer! I have posted photo when we first met. I also share on this post 3 videos of that same performance in different perspectives I did wearing a Legend of Zelda snapback for my friend Royce and his wife's Days' son Tenzin's 1st Birthday Party in Waipahu. I pray that the Lord comforts Jennifer and her family and friends during this time. And that she is surrounded daily by healing ministering angels and may the healing anointing of the Holy Spirit flow throughout her room and wherever she goes. I pray a hedge of protection around her and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. She is blessed going in and blessed going out. I also pray for the creative power of God to work through these videos that when she able to watch and listen to these videos that each sound she hears that comes from my voice are supernaturally embedded with prayer in the spirit for miraculous healing. By the stripes of Jesus, she is healed and I pray this in the name of the Son Jesus Christ in honor of God the Father. Amen!

I love her. My niece loves to dance when I beatbox for her. She's adorable and she calls me, \
I venerate our US Veterans and those serving in our Armed Forces! When I received that call to visit and perform for and honor our American Veterans at US Vets Barber's Point Kapolei. No doubt, do I not just answer that call, I settle that call. I met an incredible veteran by the name of Charles with great focus and head on his shoulders and with words of edification and encouragement he and I prayed for one another. Thank you Nicole Lam, Prisma Dance, and to our great US Veterans. To those who served our country, I salute you great men and women for having served our great and beautiful nation called America. To those who are currently serving in our Armed Forces in the army, navy, air force, coastal guard, and marine corps, I too honor, venerate and I appreciate your service and I too salute you brave men and women.

This is just one of the reasons why I get out there to do what I do day in and day out. Night in and night out. I am stoked there is no clocking in and no clocking out. No complaints here in doing my line of work. I don't tire in my work, because I don't mind working what I love and working with excellent people. I love being able to answer the call, share these gifts, devote time and talent to uplift the young patients at Shriners Hospital for Children. This is bigger than my gift and bigger than me, myself and I. It's about helping and assisting and uplifting others. To be kind to one another, and to genuinely care for our neighbor, our family. It's one of the most rewarding experiences to see the many smiles and to hear the laughter of those patients. Thank you Nicole Lam, Prisma Dance, Angela Keen, and Shriners Hospital for Children!
So great to reunite with Angela Keen! Tonight, I had an honor to volunteer my time at Shriners Hospital for Children with Prisma Dance as we cheered the young patients there up. I beatboxed and danced for them and offered beatbox lessons. They rocked the microphone and all. They were incredible! I loved every moment, especially when one of the patients in his wheelchair rocked the beatboxing on my microphone and my dance buddy Henry danced to his beatboxing. That was something I had not seen in all 13 of my years performing live. It was rewarding to see their smiles and the patients enjoying himself and herself. All of the dancers did great too from ballet, jazz, acrobatics to hip hop, and our dance contest. I loved it all!

As for Angela Keen, growing up in Honolulu I watched her as a news anchor and I didn't think then that she'd one day interview me at the First Inaugural TEDx Honolulu Conference years back. She asked me great questions. She also knows my good friend Jody Kamisato and I told her he said, \
Spent quality time performing music, dance, and sharing words of edification, encouragement, honor, praise, desserts, and prayers with Prisma Dance to our brave and strong American veterans at US Vets in Barber's Point Kapolei last week. Here Hiro and I improvised on our viola and beatbox collaboration. We had blessed time.

I am grateful and blessed to have an honor to have volunteered my time with Prisma Dance and to have performed for, converse with and pray for our brave and strong American veterans at US Vets in Barber's Point Kapolei last week. I am grateful to our American veterans for having served our great and beautiful nation.

2017 is wrapping up. What a fruitful year 2017 is. The biggest loss was when I lost my father on this Father's Day. I've honored my father's last wishes for what he wants and wanted me to fulfill in life. I am also working on another one of his final wish for me. My father didn't make it for his 85th birthday. There is not a day I don't think of my father or miss him. Father God has shown my earthly father at his best in my visions and dreams since his passing on multiple occasions that brought great comfort and peace.

Staying productive with the beatboxing....
