Recap of what has been going on. Growing up I always loved visuals that told a story, whether it'd be through illustrations, film or photographs. So here are photos courtesy of Joe Marquez (the Smoking Camera):

Global Dance Cafe 6 at Oceans 808 (in preparation for the 2010 PUJA Dance Concert: Love Letters on June 5th & 6th) was a lot of fun.... big ups to Willow Chang for inspiring me to utilize more of my "dance." My hat tips off to the late Michael Jackson, Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire. They're my top song and dance heroes. Here was some preliminary fun I had with a pre-performance photoshoot (more at jasontom.com/photos):

Then came performance time that brought the roof down (more at jasontom.com/photos).

Then I brought up my guest MC artist friend Faioso to perform our song "Im Movin On" LIVE. That song is from her debut album "Nobody Owns Me," and it is a 2010 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award nominee in the hip-hop/r&b category. "Im Movin On" as well as Faioso's album "Nobody Owns Me" is available on iTunes, CD Baby, and Amazon.

Then it was National Dance Week the followinProxy-Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: max-age=0 week with Bellypalooza! a Fundraiser for the Dakini Dance Company at Bar 35. I want to wish Dakini Dance Company and Shakti Dance Movement all the best for Tribal Fest 2010! Big ups to Beth!

I also want to give a shout out to WTFHawaii for doing awesome promo and coverage for the Bellypalooza event. Also big ups to all of the attendees, dancers, performers, videographers, photographers of both the Global Dance Cafe 6 and Bellypalooza events.

Anyway some events I am looking forward to participate in is the Hawaii Music & Book Festival, PUJA Dance Concert & Festival, Freelance presents Apex 2010 and so much
