Mighty4 Arts Hawaii Foundation Fundraiser

June 24, 2010 at 02:02PM

For those who attended APEX (presented by Freelance Clothing & Mighty4) a while back they might've spotted this flyer or poster teaser:

This July 3rd fundraiser event is for the Mighty4 Arts Hawaii Foundation and it is dedicated in the memory of High Chief XL (Walter). Walter has touched many lives including mine and he was one of the first that I've met at the Mai Tai Bar of the Ala Moana Shopping Center when I first started out performing the beatbox back in 2004 and he encouraged me to keep it going with the beatbox. The last I saw Walter was not more than a few weeks before the APEX event when he was bouncing at Next Door for a Broadcast event. If you were at least somewhat part of the Hawaii nightlife then you probably had your ID checked by Walter at one point or another. I want to thank you Walter for believing in me and the support your brother Alton also gave me from the get-go! I will not forget either of you.
